1. Installation
To install Reviews for Confluence, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Confluence instance as an admin.
- Click on the Apps item in the top navigation bar, then select Manage apps.
- On the Find new apps tab, search for "Reviews for Confluence" in the search bar.
- Locate Reviews for Confluence by ernes.io in the search results and click Install.
- The app will now be installed to your Confluence instance. You can verify the installation by navigating to Manage apps again and finding Reviews for Confluence in the list of installed apps.
2. Configuration
The Configuration section found in space settings currently contains the option to enable/disable the app for the given space. More will be available in future versions of Reviews for Confluence, allowing you to customize various aspects of the app to better suit your organization's needs.
3. Using Reviews for Confluence
Using Reviews for Confluence is simple and intuitive.
- Navigate to a Confluence Page: Open any page within your Confluence space that requires a review.
- Click the "Review" Button: With a single click, mark the page as reviewed, logging the action quickly and efficiently.
- Review Information Displayed: The app automatically adds a content byline entry that shows the review date and the name of the reviewer, alongside other key page details like the last update and page owner.
- Monitor Review Status: As part of the page metadata, users can now easily see when a page was last reviewed and by whom, ensuring content accountability.
- Continue Working Seamlessly: The app integrates smoothly into the existing page layout, without interrupting your regular workflow.
- Update Reviews as Needed: As content evolves, team members can continue to mark pages as reviewed, keeping the information up to date.
